She wanted her face to be flawless with glittering shine, searched everything on YouTube and bought a random cream suggested by some youtuber who herself was not even a medical person, all went well for few days with glow and shine but after a month, she noticed redness of face on going outside in sun and hair growth on face. On consulting, she was told she had been applying a steroid cream all the time and its side effects were redness and hair growth on face on longterm use. However she was lucky enough to get rid of the side effects on stopping that steroid cream as well as with treatment but not every person is lucky like her. What went wrong? Some youtubers just advise anything just for the sake of more subscriptions and likes and advise anything in the name of skin lightening cream. When a person finally reaches a medical store for that cream, no medical store owner cares to ask for a valid prescription as they are only interested in more sale. The rest is history. There are many people currently living on this steroid cream, as on stopping that cream they literally turn in dark skin, so they prefer red face over dark face. Moral of the story: do not apply anything recommended by an unqualified person in the name of skin lightening cream.
